Me and Martha Monday

It's Monday and time for another project from Martha Stewart Weddings! This week I decided to try a project that brought me back to grade school, a cootie catcher. Even though I played with these a lot as a kid, I never made one, so this was actually my first time making it.

My Notes: Since I am a perfectionist I had to do some trimming to make sure the piece was exactly square before folding, but it didn't take long. In one of the steps I was not sure what they were explaining, but once I asked my husband I was on my way. The last thing I wanted to mention is that I don't know what the words mean on the template. I would assume everyone would know what this game is, but not what they were suppose to do with it, so some instructions with it might be good. Here is my finished sample...

I would say this was very easy to make and only took about 10 minutes for the first one, this includes printing and cutting. If you had them printed and cut at a print shop, it would cut the time in half. Finally, here is a link to the project template on Martha Stewart Weddings, http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/goodthings/lip-smacking-good?&backto=true&backtourl=/photogallery/favor-packaging-templates#slide_13
